NFL Week 15 Lines 2021: Point Spread Changes For Browns, Rams, Chiefs Amid COVID-19 Cases
There have been some significant changes to the NFL Week 15 point spreads because of an increase in coronavirus cases around the league. One team has even gone from a significant betting favorite to an underdog because they could have so many key players unavailable.
The Cleveland Browns had been favored by nearly a touchdown over the Las Vegas Raiders as part of the Week 15 Saturday schedule. With quarterback Baker Mayfield, head coach Kevin Stefanski and several starters testing positive for COVID-19, Cleveland has now turned into a home underdog.
The Raiders are favored by one point, according to the latest odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Browns were six-point favorites just 48 hours ago.
The matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks has seen major line movement because of a COVID-19 outbreak. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and cornerback Jalen Ramsey are on the Rams’ COVID-19/reserve list, which included nine new players on Tuesday.
The Rams are favored by 4.5 points against the visiting Seahawks. Los Angeles was a 6.5-point favorite shortly after upsetting the Arizona Cardinals on “Monday Night Football."
Week 15 opens with the Kansas City Chiefs laying a field goal against the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday night. Kansas City was a four-point road favorite Tuesday before Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones was added to the COVID list.
The Minnesota Vikings are favored by 3.5 points over the Chicago Bears in the final game of Week 15. The line has moved a half-point toward Chicago since Minnesota added a few players to the COVID list.
Week 15 games are not expected to be postponed because of positive COVID cases.
