Winnipeg Jets

The Jets will play their second game of a four-game road trip when they land in Philadelphia. The trip is off to a good start as they asserted their mastery over the Senators in Ottawa on Thursday, 5-1. That now makes it three wins in a row bridging to Sunday’s and Tuesday’s wins against the Blackhawks and Kings, respectively, that capped a previous six-game homestand. They will aim for a fourth straight win against the Flyers, whom they dominated in their previous meeting on December, 7-3.

Philadelphia Flyers

Kevin Hayes came to the rescue on Thursday as he scored in overtime against the Blue Jackets to sweep them in their home-to-home series which started with a 5-1 drubbing in favor of the Flyers. While the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals go back-and-forth in the first and second spots in the Metropolitan, the Flyers are silently digging up their way to join the mayhem above the division.
