Niall Horan, member of English-Irish pop band One Direction, was spotted leaving the Great Gatsby Charity ball in London with Melissa Whitelaw, a woman he was allegedly seen kissing in Australia during the band’s tour in February this year.

The 21 year-old Westmeath, Ireland-born singer was also photographed getting into the same car as Whitelaw. News of the couple spread quickly on Twitter, and fans reacted to the idea of Horan having a girlfriend. While some were happy for the singer, others were disappointed that the singer was potentially taken off the market.

Horan participated in television music competition show “The X Factor” when he was 16. He’s also been playing the guitar since he was a child. Horan joined the band One Direction in 2010. Last month, band member Zayn Malik announced his departure.

Horan has been linked to a number of other young starlets, including Selena Gomez and "Wrecking Ball" singer Miley Cyrus.
