Nick Cannon Welcomes 9th Baby With Model LaNisha Cole [Photos]

Nick Cannon welcomed a baby girl named Onyx Ice Cole Cannon with model LaNisha Cole.

The 41-year-old television host shared a cute photo of himself, Cole and the little bundle of joy Wednesday on Instagram. In the black and white photo, the couple can be seen wearing masks and caps while the baby was wrapped in a cloth.

"Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine!" Cannon wrote in the caption. "God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth."

The father of nine further added that he vows "to protect, provide, guide and love this child" to the best of his abilities. He noted that people often listen to "these angels we call children" and said that he is also "learning that it is not the limited amount of time we have on this planet but it's the limited amount of love that is the issue."

Cannon shared how he is going to love this little girl with all his heart "regardless what anyone says." The host also wrote that he has "given up on attempting to define myself for the world or society" and now, he is focused on healing and growing.

"Hopefully I can teach Onyx the same, to not let others shame or ridicule her with their outside opinions," he added. "Because when they do, they are only projecting their own harsh experiences, pain and social programming onto her unblemished beauty."

"The Masked Singer" host admitted that he has "tough skin" as he doesn't get easily triggered by others and always has been open about his life. However, Cannon also added that everyone in his family doesn't have the "same level of strength."

Cannon went on to praise Cole for being one of the "most guileless, peaceful and nonconfrontational kind souls."

In conclusion, he asked everyone to continue praying for him and his family. Cole, on the other hand, shared a close-up black and white photo of the baby alongside the same photo Cannon posted.

Cannon shares two children - a 5-year-old son named Golden and a year-old daughter, Powerful with his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Bell. He is also expecting a third child with Bell.

Aside from having two kids with Bell, Cannon also shares twins named Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. The two were married from 2008 to 2016.

In addition, Cannon also shares twins - Zion and Zillion - with DJ Abby De La Rosa. The host welcomed another baby with model Alyssa Scott named Zen last year, who passed away after five months.
