Nick Cannon Welcomes Baby No. 12, Second With Alyssa Scott: 'Our Lives Are Forever Changed'

Nick Cannon is now a father of 12 children.

The 42-year-old "Masked Singer" host and Alyssa Scott welcomed their second baby together, a daughter named Halo Marie Cannon, roughly a year after the pair's son Zen died at 5 months old due to brain cancer.

Scott made the announcement via Instagram Thursday, two weeks after she gave birth to their daughter on Dec. 14.

"December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed," Scott wrote in the caption of an emotional video. "Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever."

She continued, "I will remember the sound of Nick's voice saying, 'It's a girl,' and the look of everything we've been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine."

"My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you, Halo Marie Cannon!" she added.

Social media users flocked to the comments section of the post to send their congratulations to the pair for the new "blessing" they've received before the end of 2022.

"The look on [Nick's] face delivering her was priceless. So happy for you! Her name is beautiful, and she will forever have Zen protecting her!" one user wrote.

Another commented, "I am so happy for you, Alyssa, you deserve all the love. Thank you for sharing Halo with us. Such a beautiful blessing."

"Literally brought me to tears. I'm so happy for you! Congratulations to you both on your beautiful baby girl!" a third user said.

An hour later, the pair's newborn daughter made her Instagram debut, when Scott posted a picture of Halo Marie wearing an all-white onesie while lying in her crib.

Scott has been sharing her pregnancy journey on social media. The model posted via Instagram photos from her intimate maternity shoot last month, which showed her and Cannon posing nude in a bathtub as they celebrated her pregnancy.

Scott announced that she was expecting a baby back in October. She posted a photo of her baby bump while holding her eldest daughter Zeela in her arms. Entertainment Tonight confirmed at the time that the former "Wild 'n Out" host was the father of her child.

Halo's arrival came over a year after the pair's first child, Zen, passed away. In June, a day after what would have been Zen's first birthday, Cannon and Scott launched a new foundation in honor of their son to help others in need of a cure for pediatric cancer, according to ET.

In addition to Zen and Halo, Cannon is also a father to 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey as week as 10-week-old son Rise Messiah and daughters Powerful Queen, 23 months, and Golden Sagon, 5, with model Brittany Bell.

He is also a dad to 18-month-old twins Zion and Zillion and 6-week-old Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa. He also shares a 5-month-old son, Legendary Love, with Bre Tiesi and welcomed 3-month-old daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole in September.
