Nick Cannon On Why He Left Kim Kardashian: Says She Lied About Sex Tape And Likely Helped Leak It
Nick Cannon and Kim Kardashian were in a four month relationship in 2006, before her sex tape with Ray J came out in 2007. Cannon revealed that they broke up after the tape was made public.
Cannon told Howard Stern last week: “We talked about this tape … And she told me there was no tape. If she might have been honest with me I might have tried to hold her down and be like ‘That was before me’ because she is a great girl.
"She’s actually one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. But the fact that she lied and told me that there was no tape?... And I still think she might have even had a part to play with it.”
Both Cannon and Kardashian have since moved on -- Kardashian is in a relationship with Kanye West, and Cannon is married to Mariah Carey.
West apparently has no issue with the videotape. In his hit single, "Clique," West raps, "Eat breakfast at Gucci. My girl a superstar all from a home movie."
Kardashian was in a sex tape with then-boyfriend Ray J in 2003. It was leaked in 2007, and the tape has since become one of the bestselling sex tapes.
Meanwhile, while talking with Howard Stern, Cannon also spoke about remaining abstinent with Mariah Carey before they were married in 2008.
“It was Mariah Carey. If Mariah Carey gave a bad [expletive] job, I didn’t care. In my mind, I’m with it. Either way, it’s one of the most beautiful women that ever walked the planet.”
Stern then asked if Cannon was nervous about having sex with Carey after they were married.
"I was excited. It was so different because we were jet setting and traveling and stuff [while we were dating]. So I would be back home, there would be other chicks, but this was the one woman that was like none of that is going down. I knew her values,” Cannon responded.
