Nick Viall Addresses Rumors About Returning To Another 'Bachelor' Season
Nick Viall spoke about his future in the "Bachelor" franchise.
Nick, 36, and Vanessa Grimaldi, 29, announced their split last week. Since the former "Bachelor in Paradise" star is single again, many are wondering if he is still willing to star in another "Bachelor" season. Here's what Nick has to say about returning to the dating reality show.
"I'm definitely done with that," Nick told Us Weekly. "I'm very thankful for everything. I don't have regrets. I don't have any regrets. There are still a lot of positive things that came from it, especially my relationship with Vanessa."
In addition to that, he gained a lot of friends from the reality show. In fact, he received outpouring support from his "Bachelor" family.
"I'm lucky enough to have friends in Bachelor Nation, like the twins and Ashley [Iaconetti], Carly [Waddell] and Evan [Bass], Wells [Adams], Jared [Haibon], for sure," he said.
"So you know, I'm lucky enough to have a handful of very close friends. And to me, it's always been important to focus on the people you’re really close with. I was very thankful for a lot of people reaching out and kind of giving their best wishes to both Vanessa and I. A lot of friends from Bachelor Nation were some of those people, and we're thankful for them."
Nick and Vanessa's friends knew all along that their relationship was doomed. A source described their romance as a "mismatch."
"Their friends knew the relationship wouldn't last," a source told People. "It was a mismatch from the start. She's super fun, bubbly and outgoing and he's more of a serious personality and more introverted. She would try to bring him out of his shell, but he's just not as comfortable in big groups."
Prior to their breakup, there were already rumors that their relationship was on the verge of a split. The couple was reportedly not okay on their flight back to Los Angeles after attending Evan and Carly's wedding. The pair did not talk onboard. Also, when the plane landed, Nick reportedly grabbed his bag and left Vanessa at the airport on her own.
Vanessa is still mending her broken heart. On Monday, she took to Instagram and shared a photo of her leaning on her friend's shoulder. "It's okay to feel broken. It's okay to cry. It's okay to lean on a friend. In the end, it will always be okay," she wrote.
