Nicki Minaj-Meek Mill Update: How Couple Plans To Make Relationship Work While ‘Problem’ Rapper’s On House Arrest
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are reportedly determined to make their relationship work despite rumors of a split and Mill's being on house arrest. A few weeks ago, reports surfaced that the pair had called it quits, but Minaj popped up in one of his Snapchat photos this week.
According to TMZ, Minaj and Mill reconciled Wednesday, the day the Snapchat photo was taken, after a three-week break. The outlet claims sources said both rappers realized that their lack of communication was causing issues in their relationship. Mill’s legal trouble has also reportedly been putting strain on their romance, but both of them want to continue dating.
The outlet reports that Minaj plans to visit Philadelphia as much as possible while the “All Eyes on You” rapper completes his 90-day house arrest sentence.
Rumors that Minaj and Mill had split started last month after TMZ reported they had gotten into a huge fight. Supposedly, Mill wanted the “Anaconda” rapper to stay with him in his hometown, but she refused. Mill started his house arrest sentence March 1 after being found guilty of violating his probation stemming from a 2008 gun and drug charge.
In addition to being on house arrest, Mill is not allowed to record or release music. According to the New York Daily News, Mill is upset he can’t work since he has a recording studio in his home. The rapper supposedly had his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, send an appeal asking the judge to lift the ban.
