Nicki Minaj expressed her gratitude for her son on the latter's 2nd birthday.
The 39-year-old rapper took to Instagram Monday to give her fans a glimpse of how she and her husband, Kenneth Petty, 44, celebrated their son Papa Bear's special day.
In a series of photos and clips she uploaded online, Minaj showed off the fun and lively Minion-themed birthday party she threw for her son. Some of the snaps showed her posing with her husband and child in front of a Minion display.
"On 9/30/22 you turned 2. #PapaBear, your Dad & I love you so much. You make us so happy. You're perfect. Thank you for giving mama new meaning to life. God cover you. Always," she wrote in the caption.
Fans quickly showered Minaj's post with compliments and positive messages for her and her family.
"Such a beautiful family Onika and look at him!!! He's growing up so fast ugh. May God bless this beautiful boy," one wrote.
"Oh my goodness! You guys look so happy. Love is all over you," another added.
"Omg, this tears me up. Seeing you guys this happy really warms my heart, Onika," a third user commented.
Other fans took notice of the extravagant party that featured a 4-tiered Minion cake with the words "Papa Bear 2" written on it. There were also well-decorated confectioneries, a bunch of Minion-shaped balloons and a bouncy house.
"The party looked so much fun with all the minions," one fan stated.
"Such an adorable birthday party," another wrote.
The "Anaconda" rapper gave birth to Papa Bear in 2020, nearly one year after their wedding. The couple has since opted to keep their son's real name a secret, according to Page Six.
Meanwhile, Minaj recently made headlines when she called out the Grammys and accused the award-giving body of removing her new hit song "Super Freaky Girl" from the rap category to accommodate undeserving artists.
Minaj submitted the song to compete in the rap categories, but the Recording Academy decided to put it in the best pop solo performance section.
"If you can't tell by now that there is a concerted effort to give newer artists things that they really don't deserve over people who have been deserving for many years, then you're not paying attention. And by the way, this is not to say any song is bad or any female rapper is bad," Minaj said in response to the Academy's move.
She added, "But why is the goalpost only ever moved when it's Nicki? Well, I'll tell you why. They don't want the people that they have in the industry to go up against me."
