Nicole Kidman Calls Keith Urban Her ‘Best Friend, Lover’ On His Birthday
Nicole Kidman recently paid tribute to her husband, Keith Urban, on his 50th birthday.
On her Facebook account, the award-winning actress shared a sweet photo of herself and her husband. In the snap, Urban’s nose is resting on Kidman’s forehead, and he also has his arm wrapped around her. The couple has huge smiles on their faces.
In her caption, Kidman called Urban not only her husband, but also her “best friend, love, baby daddy and the greatest man in the world.” The couple has been married for 11 years and have been blessed with two biological children, Sunday Rose, 9, and Faith Margaret, 6.
Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise, with whom she also shares two children, Isabella Jane, 24, and Connor, 22.
As of late, Kidman and Urban have not yet shared how they celebrated his birthday on Thursday. But in June, the “Big Little Lies” star told E! News that they decided to keep things low-key. “I don’t need any big parties; I just need my family around me. If I have my family around me, I’m happy,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kidman and Urban made headlines last month after the actress kissed her “Big Little Lies” co-star, Alexander Skarsgard, on the lips as her husband looked on. It seemed as though Urban was taken aback by his wife’s bold move, but the actress said that her husband didn’t really mind.
During her interview on “The Graham Norton Show,” Kidman said, “I did kiss Skarsgard, but you gotta understand, I did everything with Alex. I’ve got an amazing, supportive husband who I love more than anything in the world, and I gave Alex a congratulatory kiss, and he’s like a mannequin. I mean, not a mannequin… I’m done.”
Kidman also said that she kissed Urban on the lips right after, and they were completely fine with it.
In the hit HBO TV series, Kidman and Skarsgard played the role of a married couple named Celeste and Perry. He would typically abuse her until she finally made a stand to get out of their toxic relationship.
