Nicole Kidman Flaunts Short Hair In Apple TV+ Series 'Roar' On-Set Photo

Actress Nicole Kidman flaunted her new hair in a photo taken on the set of her upcoming Apple TV+ series "Roar."
In the photo, posted on Instagram Wednesday evening, the 54-year-old actress looked absolutely stunning as she wore a blue sweater and flaunted her short hairstyle. She raised her left hand up, pointing toward the sky, and showed her right profile to the camera.
In the background, a few crew members could be seen. A rainbow was also clearly visible in the photo.
"On set," the actress wrote in the caption, to which she added a rainbow emoji and the hashtags #Roar and #FemaleFilmmakers.
"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens liked the post, while singer Lesley Chiang commented on it by saying, "WORK IT, QUEEN See u in Hong Kong soon." Actress Poorna Jagannathan also reacted to the photo, writing, "Wow."
Fans quickly noticed Kidman's hairstyle and shared their reactions to it. One of the fans wrote, "You let them cut your fabulous hair??? I hope that's a wig but you're still beautiful." Meanwhile, another fan commented, "Whats going on with the hair I'm scared."
"This is so majestic and just fabulous!!! Go off my Queen," another fan noted.
The series was confirmed in March after Apple TV+ roped in stars including Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever and Alison Brie.
Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, "Roar" is based on Cecelia Ahern's short story collection of the same title. The entire season consists of eight episodes and each story is told from a woman's point of view. The show is produced by Endeavor Content.
Besides "Roar," the actress is also working on "Being the Ricardos," a biopic about the relationship between "I Love Lucy" stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. The highly anticipated movie, which is penned and directed by Aaron Sorkin, also features J. K. Simmons, Jake Lacy, Tony Hale, Javier Bardem and Nina Arianda in the lead roles.
Kidman will be also seen in the historical thriller drama "The Northman," which is slated for April 8, 2022 release. Helmed by Robert Eggers, the movie also stars Alexander Skarsgård, Anya Taylor-Joy, Björk, Willem Dafoe and Claes Bang in the key roles.
On the personal front, Kidman has two kids with her husband Keith Urban -- Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
