Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban Not Looking At Options To Have Baby Boy
Claims that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban wanted a baby boy, and they were looking into options were proven false Tuesday.
Gossip Cop debunked the claim which came out in New Idea with the title “Nicole’s Baby Joy: It’s A Boy!” The website said the couple, parents to two young girls Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, isn’t planning to have a third child at the moment.
The magazine claimed Kidman is pregnant, saying the actress, who apparently “opened up about wanting more children,” was “tenderly touching her stomach” as she posed for photos at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie “Boy Erased.” It added that she is not currently expecting but is more “determined than ever” to have a third child.
Like most fake reports, the magazine quotes an anonymous source in the story who said, “Nicole has made no secret of the fact that she wants more children with Keith and this time she’d love a little boy.” The source adds the actress and her husband were willing to do “whatever it takes” for the same.
“Nicole and Keith have been looking into options to help have a baby. While Nic’s grandmother had a baby late in life, Nicole knows it will be a struggle for her, so the couple are talking about surrogacy and adoption as well,” the anonymous source continued adding Kidman would love to give Urban the son he always wanted.
“Now that her girls are getting older, Nic would love a new baby in the home and she knows Keith would love a little boy,” the source said.
According to Gossip Cop, the whole story was nothing but a fabricated lie. Kidman’s rep, who spoke on behalf of the actress, told Gossip Cop on record that the report was untrue.
The original report in New Idea said Kidman would love to have more children.
“I still have the faintest hope that something may happen to me this year,” the report quotes Kidman. “Keith and I would love to have more babies.” The quote was in fact taken from a report in the Daily Mail from January 2017. The claims were later clarified in Kidman’s subsequent interviews.
Gossip Cop pointed out Kidman said “No” when she was asked by “Entertainment Tonight” the same month as the above report. “I would have loved to if I would have had more kids, but I think I’m past that point now. But I’m very thrilled with what I have,” she said.
In the same interview, Kidman said, “My husband says, ‘Let’s just enjoy what we have!'." This goes against the claim in the original report that Urban wanted a son.
