Nicole Kidman Upset Over Keith Urban, Julia Michaels’ Relationship? Truth About Rumor
Is Nicole Kidman really furious with Keith Urban because of his friendly relationship with singer-songwriter Julia Michaels? This is what a new tabloid report claims. The Hollywood actress is reportedly upset that her musician husband is “getting cozy” with Michaels.
In its latest issue, Woman’s Day Australia magazine claimed that Kidman, 51, is jealous and mad because Urban, also 51, is getting too close with the 25-year-old recording artist. The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” crooner has reportedly been spending a lot of time with Julia and the latter is seemingly taking advantage of the situation.
The “Heaven” songstress is said to be “very flirtatious” around Urban and the much older singer has been “lapping it up.” Julia is also said to be one of the opening acts on Keith’s Graffiti U World Tour, so the two reportedly developed a strong bond.
“Nicole’s got every right to find their behavior intimidating and highly inappropriate especially as Keith’s so unapologetic and borderline smug about it all,” a supposed insider for the tabloid said, adding that Nicole is enraged by her husband’s behavior toward Julia.
Gossip Cop has since debunked the magazine’s story. According to the fact-checking outlet, none of the tabloid’s claims are true. A spokesperson for the former “American Idol” judge was reached, and he assured that the report involving Urban and Kidman as well as Michaels is “complete nonsense.” The singer’s rep also clarified that the actress does not have any issue with the younger singer.
Also worth noting is the fact that Michaels’ stint as part of Urban’s opening acts has already ended. She joined the “Coming Home” hitmaker for the Australian leg of his tour and that already ended last month. Urban is now doing the European leg of his tour and he is joined by Brett Eldredge, Drake White, Cam and Chase Rice for the opening acts.
The news comes days after Urban revealed that his song “Gemini” is indeed about the “Big Little Lies” star. The admission raised some eyebrows since the lyrics of the song describe a woman who is “a maniac in the bed” and “a brainiac in her head.”
However, Keith maintained that Nicole does not have any issues with the track. He said that his wife was even pleased after hearing it. “The song is actually about Nicole — and she loves it. It’s a fun song,” he said.
