Nimuno ‘Lego Tape’: Where To Buy The Incredible New Creation That Rocked Indiegogo
Heard about Nimuno’s innovative new adhesive Lego tape and wonder where you can buy some? We’ve got everything you need to know about the viral Indegogo campaign and where the adhesive Lego compatible tape is sold. Find out how to get some, here.
Lego aficionados rejoice! There is now a new way to take your Lego building and designs to places you never dreamed. In a viral Indegogo campaign, Team Nimuno revealed an exciting new Lego compatible product that will allow builders to make and show off their creations anywhere. The product which has been dubbed “Nimuno Loops,” is basically adhesive Lego compatible tape that you can roll out, cut apart and stick to any surface you please, creating a flexible baseplate on which to build your Lego designs. With Nimuno's new Lego tape, Lego lovers can build on ceilings walls, toys, windows – you name it!
The Nimuno Loops campaign launched on Indiegogo just this week, with a goal of reaching $8,000 in pledges. In just a few days, the campaign has raised nearly $1 million, blowing its modest goal out of the water. The $8,000 goal was set to help the South Africa based team to create final prototypes and begin production of the product.
How To Buy LEGO Tape: Where Is Nimuno’s Adhesive LEGO Compatible Tape Sold?
If you heard about the new LEGO tape but weren’t sure where it was sold or how to get your hands on it, you’re in luck. Though the Lego tape can’t be bought in any regular stores or online markets like Amazon, the Indiegogo campaign is still live and taking new orders. If you don’t know about Indiegogo, it’s basically a place where product inventors can post their prototypes and crowdsource funds from people who believe in what they are doing. In the case of Nimuno Loops (Lego Tape), if you make a donation to the project, you can receive the tape as a perk. The amount of Lego tape you will receive depends on how much you donate. The bottom tier of donations starts at $11 for two rolls of the tape, equaling a total of 6.5 feet. The packages go all the way up to $500 for 100 rolls. The tape is the width of a 2x1 brick.
According to the Indiegogo campaign, the Lego Tape product will be ready for shipping around July 2017 so you’ll be waiting a few months before it shows up at your doorstep. The product is very reasonably priced and if you love Legos, I’d definitely suggest purchasing some of the Lego Tape now via Nimuno’s Indegogo campaign. Once retailers get their hands on the product, the price is likely to increase quite a bit.
If you want to purchase the Lego Tape now, simply visit the Nimuno Loops Indiegogo campaign page, here and choose your perk/price.
