Nina Dobrev And Austin Stowell Spotted Kissing In France; See Photos From Their Vacation
Nina Dobrev doesn't have a steamy love story on TV anymore, but she might have one in real life. The former “Vampire Diaries” star was photographed enjoying the French Riviera with "Whiplash" actor Austin Stowell. The actors were seen kissing on a yacht during their trip.
According to People, Dobrev was in Saint-Tropez to attend the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala. The 26-year-old helped the foundation raise over $40 million for the environment. While she was in town, it seems the actress took some time to vacation and relax. After leaving “The Vampire Diaries,” Dobrev revealed that she needed to take some time away from acting.
“I had a very scheduled, regimented life, and I’ve just been taking the whole month to not plan anything and see where life takes me and chill for a second before getting back into it and getting super focused again,” she told People in May.
Since finishing the CW drama, Dobrev has been pictured with Stowell, 30, quite a few times. In May, the two were reportedly kissing at the Indianapolis 500. According to Us Weekly, she brought her rumored beau to actress Jamie King’s baby shower and then to a screening of her film, “Final Girls,” in June. He also keeps appearing in photos on her Instagram.
If Stowell is Dobrev’s boyfriend, it would be her first public relationship since her ex-boyfriend and “TVD” co-star Ian Somerhalder got married. Dobrev and Somerhalder, who played love interests Elena and Damon on their show, dated for three years. Somerhalder was single for a brief period of time before getting together with “Twilight” actress Nikki Reed, who he married in April. Earlier this year, Dobrev assured her fans that her ex was not behind her exit from the CW drama.
“I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he's great and I care about him,” she told E! News in May. “And that didn't change. Yes, we're professional and that's fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now.”
