Nina Dobrev And Kat Graham Have A ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Reunion
There’s nothing like a good party to bring out “The Vampire Diaries” stars.
Good thing Nina Dobrev, former star of the hit CW series that ended earlier this year, had a cover issue of Harper’s by Harper’s Bazaar to celebrate. The Harper’s Bazaar dinner event on Tuesday to applaud Dobrev’s September issue was more than enough to bring all of her friends and former co-stars out.
Dobrev posted a gallery of seven photos from the event to her Instagram account and one of them featured a major reunion of Dobrev, Kat Graham, and Kayla Ewell, who played Elena, Bonnie and Vicki, respectively. With the series now over after eight seasons, the photo really pulled at the heartstrings of fans.
This photo was the last shot in the gallery, so clearly she was saving the best photo for last. Or at least the photo she knew would most make her fans go crazy. And it did. As soon as people saw the photo of Dobrev and her former “The Vampire Diaires” co-stars, they took to the comments to express their excitement.
Ewell also posted the reunion photo to her Instagram, as did Graham, who included more photos of her look from the event, as well.
Once fans can get over the enjoyment of seeing these women together again, they’ll notice that many other stars and friends of Dobrev’s joined her at the event and can be seen in the other photos she posted in the Instagram gallery.
She starts off the gallery with a shot of her posing with one of her best friends, Julianne Hough, who just got married and returned from her honeymoon. Hough is holding up Dobrev’s issue of the magazine with a proud look on her face.
The second photo is simply the 28-year-old actress holding the magazine over her face in excitement, before she moves on to the next two pictures featuring more friends and colleagues.
When the fifth photo appears, fans will be quick to recognize the two actresses sitting with Dobrev. The women are none other than Jessica Szohr, who famously played Vanessa on CW’s “Gossip Girl,” and Danielle Campbell, a former lead on The CW’s “The Originals.”
And before posting her final photo of the heartwarming, “The Vampire Diaries” reunion, Dobrev included another photo of her with Hough and friends.
The event was large and star-studded and completely seven-photos worthy. Especially since the gallery included so many former CW stars. Even though they’re no longer on the network, they’ve all managed to stay friends as they move on with other projects, and that alone is worth celebration.
Dobrev, besides guest editing the September issue of Harper’s by Harper’s Bazaar, is working on ramping up her film career. She has three movies on the way, including the much-anticipated “Flatliners” with Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Kiersey Clemons and Kiefer Sutherland. The former “Degrassi” star also has the upcoming 2018 flick “Departures” with Maisie Williams, Asa Butterfield and Tyler Hoechlin almost ready to enter the world.
Meanwhile, Ewell’s taking on the thriller world as she works on “Friend Zone” with Drew Seeley. The film is due out at the beginning of 2018. Graham just completed work on “Where’s The Money,” a comedy with Logan Paul and Terry Crews. Next up for her is production on “How It Ends,” a thrilling film with Theo James and Forest Whitaker. Between her acting gigs, Graham is also putting together new music.
