  • Noah Beck’s fans were disappointed over him charging $10,000 for a single TikTok duet
  • Beck said that the fee was intended for brands instead of fans
  • He admitted that the price was a little “ridiculous” but clarified it wasn't set by him

Noah Beck has addressed the controversial fee he is reportedly charging fans who want to collaborate on a TikTok duet with him.

Beck, who has 18.6 million TikTok followers, came under fire after fans found that he is charging $10,000 per duet on the app. This move was met with criticism, with fans calling it “insane” and “unfair.”

Beck initially kept mum about the controversy. However, when paparazzi group Pap Galore asked the 19-year-old influencer about the criticism while he was out walking his dog on Sunday, he made it clear that he was misunderstood.

Beck told Pap Galore that the prices were set “for a brand” and not meant for fans. He further argued that “people don’t seem to really understand what [the feature] is.”

“Obviously I’ve done [duets] before, and I’ve never charged for it,” Beck added.

Admitting that his fees were a bit “ridiculous,” Beck clarified that the prices weren’t set by him.

“I know people have been saying like: ‘He thinks he’s Harry Styles’ but it really isn’t like that, it’s just a brand deal. I don’t think anyone should be charging $10,000 for a TikTok duet,” he explained.

His response came after some TikTok fans began calling him out on social media for the amount he was charging for one duet.

“I am not criticizing you, but I think it is a bit unfair that you charge ten thousand dollars for a simple duet to all the people who supported you and believed in you,” wrote one disappointed fan on Twitter.

“I can't believe that you can meet Billie (a 5x grammy award winning artist with actual talent), talk to her and take pics for only a couple hundred but Noah Beck has the audacity to charge his fans 10,000 for a TikTok... where are 9 year olds supposed to get that money?” another tweeted.

Some Instagram users criticized him for “thinking he’s Harry Styles,” per Dexerto.

Beck, a member of the Sway House, is one of the biggest social media influencers at the moment, boasting 18.6 million TikTok followers and 6.2 million followers on Instagram. His relationship with TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio has only added to his popularity.
