'Not Safe With Nikki Glaser' Comedy Central Series Asks The Tough Questions About Sex Toys In Episode 4 [VIDEO]
Since its premiere, Comedy Central’s new series “Not Safe With Nikki Glaser” has challenged what’s acceptable to put on TV. Episode 4 was no exception as comedian Nikki Glaser tackled issues about sex toys and parents relationship to sex.
Each week, the 31 year old is joined by some of her friends in the business to engage in outrageous pre-taped interviews, sketches or crazy stunts. After highlighting the guests during last week’s episode, the latest took a step backwards to focus on the star of the show and what it takes to make her uncomfortable. To start, she brought along her friend, comedian Sara Schaefer, for a NSFW parody of Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee.”
Unlike the flagship show, Glaser’s rendition had one key factor that was different, both she and her guest were sitting on vibrators throughout the discussion. What’s more, they weren’t the ones in control of when the devices were and weren’t running.
The fun, and discomfort, didn’t stop there as the comedian then moved on to an entirely different segment involving her parents, but the same amount of sex talk. Previously, Glaser employed the use of a lie-detector test on her staff to ask uncomfortable questions. This time, she turned the technology on her own parents to ask them very inappropriate questions about their sex lives. In the end, she ends up leaning a bit more information about her mom and dad than she bargained for.
Meanwhile, back in the studio, her special guests for the evening, comedians Jim Jefferies and Bridget Everett, couldn’t help but have follow up questions about Glaser’s parents. It appeared that the host was more than happy to just ignore what she learned in the above clips and move on to something else, like a discussion of sex toys.
“Not Safe With Nikki Glaser” airs Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. EST on Comedy Central. Be sure to check back next week for another crop of new material from the comic.
