Weeks after unveiling the iPhone12 Pro, Apple (APPL) is set to announce more new products with an event planned for Nov. 10. The tech giant made the announcement on Monday, saying only that it will be live-streamed on its website at 10 a.m. PST from Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

The event, however, is expected to bring a series of new Silicon‌ Macs. Apple has previously said that it plans to unveil new computers with its Apple-designed chips based on its ARM technology instead of using Intel processors, MacRumors reported. The Apple chips are currently used in its iPhone and iPads.

Mac sales have been on the rise for Apple during the coronavirus pandemic, as the company reported $9 billion in sales for the June-ending fiscal fourth quarter. This was an increase of 28% from the fourth quarter of 2019. The company reported fourth-quarter revenues of $64.7 billion, with international sales accounting for 59%.

"Despite the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, Apple is in the midst of our most prolific product introduction period ever, and the early response to all our new products, led by our first 5G-enabled iPhone lineup, has been tremendously positive," Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement on Oct. 29 about the quarter.

"From remote learning to the home office, Apple products have been a window to the world for users as the pandemic continues, and our teams have met the needs of this moment with creativity, passion, and the kinds of big ideas that only Apple can deliver."

News of the anticipated Macs release comes after two previous Apple events in 2020, where the company released new iPhone 12s, an Apple Watch, iPads, and the HomePod mini products.

Shares of Apple were trading at $107.94 as of 3:13 p.m. EST, down 92 cents, or 0.84%.
