  • The Undertaker reveals how he wants to retire in WWE
  • He says loss to Roman Reigns forced him to keep going
  • The Undertaker recently won WWE's first-ever Boneyard match

The superstar of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), The Undertaker, has revealed that he wants to retire “on a high.”

The WWE Universe, when the WWE was called the WWF, believed that the star wrestler had returned from death several times. Fondly called "The Deadman", The Undertaker has been around in WWE for almost 30 years now as an immortal figure. However, even his end in the company is getting close and the 55-year-old wrestler has his retirement plan ready.

There were so many instances when many thought it was the end of the Phenom but the guy always returned to the ring. One such example was during the WrestleMania 33. The Undertaker left his hat and coat in the ring after Roman Reigns defeated him in a No Holds Barred match, handing The Undertaker his only second loss at "The Show of Shows".

But, The Undertaker returned to action following the embarrassing loss and he recently revealed in the "Undertaker: The Last Ride" that he was disgusted with his performance in that match and termed that poor performance one of the main reasons why he decided to keep going in WWE.

In a recent interview, The Undertaker spoke about his “amazing career” and disclosed when he would know its time to “walk away”.

“When you’re thinking of the old school Undertaker, that’s not a character that comes down to the ring and says, ‘Thank you for being with me for 30 years. It’s been a great career. I want to thank… ’ That’s not what that guy does if you’re being true to the character and what people want to see."

"I’ve had this amazing career, I’ve been so blessed to have this career and far exceeded the expectations of when I got in this business. But I kind of want the John Elway ending, you know? The John Elway ending, when he went out and he won a couple of Super Bowls and then retired. Or Peyton Manning, he wins the Super Bowl, then retired,” he told People.com

“When I’m looking at it, I want that match, that match when it’s just like, ‘Oh yeah. Bam. I still got it. I got gas in the tank, I tore it down. Now walk away’,” The Phenom added further.
