Nude Pictures for Minor Results in Guilty Plea

After pleading guilty to online solicitation of a minor, KHOU-TV reported that a 38-year-old woman from Katy, Texas, received a sentence of five years' probation on Friday.

Lori David wound up behind bars after she sent her friend's 16-year-old son two nude images of herself in October 2010, court documents show. The teen told investigators that since David started socializing with him when she was a volunteer at Katy Taylor High School -- where he and her son are classmates -- the exchanges they've had online have often been sexual.

Every action has a consequence and I'm taking responsibility for my actions, she wrote in a statement her lawyer Michael Nassif read.

The judge ordered that David needed to register as a sex offender for the next 15 years, and couldn't have contact with children who aren't relatives of hers. Additionally, she'll have to give up going online for anything that doesn't involve her job over the next five years, and can't own a cellphone that has Internet access. She also has to pay $500.

Failure to comply with the terms of her probation may result in a prison term lasting between two and 10 years.

You know you have a problem, said the judge, who ordered that David will need a counselor or psychiatrist to evaluate her before she can be around children. I do not want you at that school for anything except your son's graduation.
