Following the announcement of WWE bringing NXT to the USA Network, Paul “Triple H” Levesque has revealed the role NXT UK could play in the show once on TV.

Levesque spoke about the subject during a conference call for press in the U.K. ahead of NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff on Saturday. He was asked by Harry Kettle of Fightful about the possibility of the NXT and NXT UK rosters mixing more after NXT debuts on the USA Network.

For anyone unfamiliar, WWE announced NXT would begin airing on the USA Network Sept. 18th, making it the third WWE show on national television along with RAW and SmackDown Live! The show will also be expanded from one to two hours, putting it in direct competition with All Elite Wrestling’s upcoming show on TNT that debuts Oct. 2nd.

“I think the letters in the front of it say everything about it; I believe there is a banner of NXT sort of an oversight of the brand that permeates broth the brand you see in the UK and in the UK,” Levesque told media. “I think you’ll see that resonate in other markets around the world. As you see, in the US, NXT making the shift over to the USA Network, the different platform here in the middle of September and moving forward, up to two hours every week. I definitely intend to have the talent from the UK a big part of that so they are recognized around the world. They will definitely be a big part of that show as well and it will enhance their reputation around the world.”

Levesque went on to explain that select members of RAW and SmackDown could also be appearing on NXT and NXT UK, citing Cesaro’s promoted appearance at TakeOver on Saturday as an example. He also teased the possibility of Drew McIntyre appearing in NXT UK after McIntyre expressed interest in appearing on the show.
