Obama girls start first day at new school
President-elect Barack Obama daughter's Sasha and Malia began their first day of school at Sidewell on Monday.
According to the president-elect's transition office, Michelle Obama accompanied the two daughters Sasha, 7, and, Malia, 10, to Sidwell Friends School along with an expansive motorcade of U.S. Secret Service agents.
Sasha is in second grade, attending in the elementary school campus in Bethesda, Maryland while Malia is in fifth grade at the middle school at Sidwell campus in Washington, DC.
The future first girls looked like regular students readying for their first day, but President-Elect Barack Obama doesn't begin his term for another two weeks.
