An Oklahoma homeowner shot and killed a home-invasion intruder in self defense on Saturday.

KTUL-TV reported on Tuesday that around 11 A.M. on Saturday, a Tulsa homeowner shot 36-year-old Brandon Sharp with a rifle when he broke into the residence.

“When he kicked in the door, they said he was talking crazy and making threats to kill everyone inside, Tulsa Police Lt. Brandon Watkins said in a Tulsa World report.

The homeowner, along with two others, fled the house and called 911 while Sharp was pronounced dead on the scene, Fox News reported.

The homeowner said that he didn’t know the intruder.
