An elderly couple became YouTube stars after their granddaughter posted a video in which the seniors were trying to learn how to operate a computer and a web cam.

The video that features Bruce and Esther Huffman from McMinnville, Oregon became a viral hit with over 8 million views in just weeks.

For about three inane yet hilarious minutes, the cute couple in the viral video tries to capture pictures on the cam and unsuccessfully ends up making monkey faces, burping and singing.

The video, uploaded by their granddaughter (username - Mindy), who called it “Web Cam 101 For Seniors” in August, 2011 first became popular on pop-culture sites and has now become one of the most-shared videos with over 8 million views.

YouTube reports that the video is at the top of the search with keywords and search topics that include - old couple computer, elderly couple can t figure out computer, older couple trying to take picture on computer, old couple trying to skype and seniors accidental video.

The couple did not realize, till the end, that they had accidentally turned on the recording button of the new computer that they were trying to come to grips with.

The video recorded amazingly hilarious moments of the couple and made millions of people laugh, when other Web sites started reporting it.

The couple seems to have had a lot of fun trying to figure out how the new device functions.
