Olivia Munn-Aaron Rodgers Update: Girlfriend Writes Instagram Letter About Green Bay Packers Loss

“X-Men: Apocalypse” actress Olivia Munn took to Instagram Sunday after her boyfriend, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, lost in the in the NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons. Rodgers and his NFL suffered a devastating 44-21 blowout, which eliminated them from the Super Bowl.

Still, Munn, 36, praised the Packers. “So proud of this team,” the actress penned in a handwritten note. “They faced a lot of adversity on and off the field, but battled to get this far.”

She added, “Thank you to those of you who encouraged and supported them by choosing to put out only positive energy. It helped them get this far.”

The memo was liked more than 47,000 times by her 1.5 million followers. It garnered hundreds of comments from her fans, most leaving green and yellow hearts, which are the Packers’ colors.

Munn came under fire last week after she was accused of creating a rift in the Rodgers’ family. She fueled the rumors Sunday when she “liked” a slew of Instagram comments that mentioned her boyfriend’s family, Terez Owens noted Monday.

While Munn was blamed for the family drama, the actress was not involved. “Olivia doesn’t really have anything to do with it,” an insider told People Magazine last week. “This is not her issue; this is the Rodgers family issue.”

The football player will not likely address the feud openly. “Aaron has never wanted want to air this out in a public forum,” the source said. “He will deal with his family issues privately.”

The drama resurfaced when Rodgers’ father, Ed, talked to the New York Times Jan. 15. “Fame can change things,” he told the Times. “It’s complicated... we're all hoping for the best.” He added: “Airing public laundry is not what I would have chosen, but it's good to have it all come out.”
