Olivia Munn got candid about her motherhood experience on social media.
The "X-Men: Apocalypse" star, 41, seems to be enjoying parenting. She has been sharing cute photos and videos of her and John Mulaney's baby boy, Malcolm, on Instagram. However, the first-time mom admitted that she's also been struggling with breastfeeding.
"Breastfeeding is soooo hard, especially if you have low supply," she wrote on her Instagram Stories Wednesday, Page Six reported.
"8 weeks in and I’ve taken a million vitamins, countless teas, lozenges, tinctures, and worked with two lactation consultants," she wrote in a subsequent post before adding, "Breastfeeding. Is. Hard."
She also shared a photo of the various supplements that she has been taking to help with breastfeeding and asked other moms if they have experienced the same issue.
"Any other moms taking allll the supplements and teas and tinctures yet barely make milk?" she wrote with a frowning-face emoji.
The "Love Wedding Repeat" star made light of the situation and shared a photo of her dog resting on her breastfeeding pillow. "At least someone is making good use of my breastfeeding pillow," she wrote in the caption.
Munn and Mulaney secretly welcomed their firstborn a day before Thanksgiving. However, they shared the first photos of their baby boy on Christmas Eve when they sent their season's greetings to their fans and friends.
The "Saturday Night Live" alum confirmed in September that he and Munn were together and expecting a baby. He made the statement just days after Munn was photographed with a baby bump and months after he and his ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler announced their split.
"I packed a lot into this... Is it September now? I went to rehab in September, I got out in October, I moved out of my home from my ex-wife [Anna Marie Tendler]," he said on "Late Night With Seth Meyers." "Then in the spring, I went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia."
He continued, "I got into this relationship that's been really beautiful with someone incredible. And we're having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news!"
Mulaney and Tendler's divorce was finalized earlier this month, five months after the comedian filed the papers.
