Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are living separate lives after they decided to call it quits and end their seven-year engagement earlier this year.

Wilde and Sudeikis had been in a relationship for almost 10 years before they split. Although they have decided to part ways, the two reportedly remain amicable and are focusing on co-parenting their children, according to an unnamed source close to exes.

"The split happened at the beginning of the year," the insider told People. "It's been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship."

Wilde and Sudeikis share two children, son Otis Alexander, 6, and daughter Daisy Josephine, 4.

The two started dating in November 2011. The "Saturday Night Live" alum proposed to the "Booksmart" director after the holidays in 2012.

"I met her at a finale party for 'SNL'," Sudeikis told host Stephen Colbert on "The Late Show" in 2017.

But though they "hit it off that night," the actor said it wasn't until Wilde broke up with her then-boyfriend that they started seeing each other.

"I actually came off looking a little cooler than I really am because I had heard through the grapevine, through mutual friends who weren’t exactly her best girlfriends, who would report back, ‘Oh you know, I think she’s dating someone,'" Sudeikis recalled.

"So I didn’t make any moves," he continued. "I was just very, very busy with other things. And next thing you know, I stopped being busy, she stopped dating someone, and then it was off to the races."

At the time, the two reintroduced themselves to each other and it worked.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Allure in 2013, Wilde shared that she actually found Sudeikis "so charming" during their first meeting. However, she recalled that he "didn't even get my number” and that she didn’t think he would be interested in her.

“I thought, ‘He won’t be interested in me; I’m not a contender’,” Wilde said.

“He was so cool, so funny — I was such a fan of his and had always fancied his speed and his intelligence. He’s a brilliant actor with a brain like lightning. I felt like fresh meat at the market,” she revealed. “I thought, I’m not beautiful enough or his type.”

In February 2019, Wilde told Us Weekly how they kept their romance alive, revealing that they prioritized date night.

"We go out and have a lot of fun. We were both really social people when we met, and we didn’t want to give that up when we became parents, so we’re really consistent about our time with them, but we also prioritize a couple of date nights a week," the actress said.

Wilde is directing and producing New Line's psychological thriller "Don't Worry Darling." She also stars in the film alongside Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Chris Pine, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is slated for release in 2021.
