#RIPQueen is currently trending on Twitter after Oluwatosin Salau, whose a Black Lives Matter protester, has been reportedly found dead. Salau’s death, however, is yet to be confirmed since no official reports from the authorities have been published yet.
Netizens took the expression of their sympathies and dismay against the authorities to Twitter after news of the Black Lives Matter activist’s death spread all over the internet today (June 15).
People all over the world poured out their emotions, opinions and thoughts about the unfortunate circumstance that happened to Salau over the said social media platform by adding #RIPQueen to their caption.

As the news about the Black Lives Matter protester’s death spread widely over social media, the authorities have not published any confirmation on the matter. A missing adult poster, dated June 9, described Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau, 19, as someone who stood at 5’ 7”, weighs 120 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, Heavy reported.
The news site reported that the release of the Tallahassee Police Department remained as it was — Salau still tagged as a missing person. Consequently, the publication revealed that they have reached out to the police to confirm the veracity of Salau’s death.
A netizen also said that there were no official reports yet; however, she believed that Salau’s sister and friends spoke to investigators and found out about the news.
A netizen, who goes by the name Ashley on Twitter, informed everyone that Salau was no longer with them.

Igbudu Joseph Chinedu started the “Justice for Oluwatoyin Salau who was sexually assaulted, abducted and killed” on change.org following the report of Salau’s reported death. The online petition called for the Head Tallahassee City Police Department to make sure that the authorities conduct a thorough investigation and arrest all people involved.
In support of the cause to bring justice for the Black Lives Matter protester, netizens share the said petition on social media.

Salau claimed that a black man offered him a ride at Richview and Park Avenue to someplace where she could rest and recollect her belongings. She went on with the details of her experience on her succeeding tweets.
