‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 4 Spoilers: Episode 2 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘White Out’?
“Once Upon a Time” returned to ABC with a bang on Sunday night. Season 4 of the hit fairytale drama not only introduced the “Frozen” storyline, but it also sparked an exciting new plot twist: Is it possible to rewrite a happy ending in the story book?
Episode 2, titled “White Out,” will continue to use flashbacks to tell the tale of Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail). Viewers previously watched the sisters in Arendelle, but Anna will make her way to the Enchanted Forest in the upcoming episode. It’s while in the Enchanted Forest of the past that she’ll “teach a meek David (Josh Dallas) to fight Bo Peep (Robin Weigert).” But this Bo Peep isn’t the same fairytale characters that lost her sheep -- in “Once Upon a Time” Bo Peep is a “brutal warlord.”
“White Out” will also introduce Elsa to the Storybrooke residents in modern day. The snow queen may have been able to avoid Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) in the Season 4 premiere, but there will be no escaping the savior in episode 2. In fact, Elsa will find herself trapped with Emma after accidentally triggering an ice cave. The freezing temperatures may have no effect on Elsa, but the synopsis teases that the ice cave will put Emma’s life in danger.
Elsa’s magic isn’t just a problem for Emma, it’s a problem for the entire town of Storybrooke. With the power lines damaged and frozen, the town will be looking to its “leader” to help restore the town’s electricity. But who is the “leader” of Storybrooke? The townsfolk still see Snow White aka Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) as someone they can trust. Besides juggling baby Neal, the new mom will have to try and restart the generator.
Unfortunately, Regina (Lana Parrilla) will be no help in all of the chaos. The former evil queen will slump into a depression after her break up with Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), secluding “herself away from the town and Henry (Jared Gilmore), which saddens her son.”
“Once Upon a Time” episode 2 will air on ABC on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 8 p.m. EDT. What are you looking forward to in “White Out”? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
