‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 4 Spoilers: Watch 3 Sneak Peek Videos From The Sept. 28 Premiere
Ready to return to Storybrooke? ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” is set to return for its fourth season on Sunday, Sept. 28, but fans don’t have to wait until then to see their favorite fairytale characters in action. The network has released three sneak peek videos from episode 1 to get viewers excited for Season 4.
The first sneak peek video gives a look at the hottest couple in Storybrooke – Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). Last time “Once Upon a Time” fans left them, the pair had embraced in a steamy lip lock. But it appears as if there is trouble in paradise for the duo.
In the video, Hook approaches Emma while she’s taking a stroll with Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and baby Neal. Emma has her eyes straight ahead, but Hook isn’t letting her get by that easily.
“Swan, are you avoiding me?” Hook questions her.
Emma asks Mary Margaret for a minute alone with Hook, before responding.
“I’m not avoiding you,” she tells him, sounding frustrated. “I’m just dealing with stuff. We have a crisis right now.”
“There is always a crisis,” Hook says, cutting her off. “Perhaps you should consider living a life during them otherwise you might miss it.”
Will Emma take Hook’s advice? As we previously reported their relationship can only move forward if they can truly “commit to one another.”
A second sneak peek video shows Regina (Lana Parrilla) returning to a place that “Once Upon a Time” viewers haven’t seen in ages – the secret holding cells below the Storybrooke hospital. Putting in her secret code, Regina waltzes down to a closed door. After peeking inside, Regina opens it up … to reveal Sidney Glass aka The Magic Mirror (Giancarlo Esposito). “What are you doing here,” he asks Regina, huddled in a corner of the room.
“I need my mirror,” she tells him with a slight shrug of her shoulders.
“For what, my Queen,” Sidney Glass questions her.
“There’s someone standing in the way of my happiness,” Regina responds coldly. “I need your help getting rid of them.”
Despite acting like a hero in Season 3, it appears that Regina will be returning to her old ways in Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time.” But will the light inside her be able to outweigh the dark? Fingers crossed that Henry (Jared Gilmore) can act as a good influence on his mother … because we highly doubt that Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) will be happy if Regina hurts Marian (Christie Laing).
The third sneak peek video features Belle (Emilie de Ravin) pulling Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) into a giant empty hall – potentially new digs for the newlyweds.
“So, what do you think?” Belle asks Rumpel.
“Well, I think we’ve been married almost a full day and I don’t believe we’ve had our first dance,” he responds.
With a couple snaps of his fingers, Rumpel sets the mood for a romantic rendezvous with Belle. The lights turn on, music begins to play, and Rumpel places his new wife in the iconic yellow gown that fans of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” have come to know and love.
The moment between the pair seems perfect. But “Once Upon a Time” fans know that the honeymoon stage between the two won’t last long in Season 4. Rumpel lied to Belle about killing Zelena (Rebecca Mader), and he’s secretly been holding onto the dark dagger that controls him.
Season 4 of “Once Upon a Time” will air on ABC on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m. EDT. Fans can catch the “Storybrooke Has Frozen Over” special at 7 p.m. EDT.
