‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6 Spoilers: Emilie de Ravin Returns To Set; Films Scenes With Hook

Belle is back!

“Once Upon a Time” fans snapped some behind-the-scenes photos of the cast filming earlier this week and were able to spot star Emilie de Ravin on set. The 34-year-old actress, who plays Belle on the ABC fairytale series, was written off for a couple episodes last season after going on maternity leave.

Ravin announced that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend turned fiancé Eric Bilitch in October. While fans were excited to hear the news, they were also left wondering about what would happen to Belle. The show creators decided to write a Belle and Rumple (Robert Carlyle) baby storyline into the season, adding a twist involving Hades (Gregg German). Viewers watched as Hades threatened to take Rumple’s child from him due to a contract. In order to keep her baby safe, Belle decided to put herself under a sleeping curse. Rumple put her body in Pandora’s Box until he could defeat Hades and figure out a way to break the curse, but the box was stolen by Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) in the Season 5 finale. Rumple had to strike a deal with the crazy man in order to rescue his estranged wife and baby.

Although Rumple managed to get Belle back, his problem still lies in waking her. His own attempt at true love’s kiss didn’t work, and Belle’s father refused to help him. His hope when the season ended was that Hades’ Olympic crystal would be able to break the curse.

Based on the photos, it looks like Rumple will succeed in waking Belle from the sleeping curse. But what happens next? Photos taken by YVR Shoots show that Ravin was filming with Hook actor Colin O’Donoghue at Britannia Shipyards in Richmond, British Columbia. The two appeared to be in modern clothes, hinting that they’re probably in Storybrooke. However, the two characters don’t team up too often, so fans have to suspect that something may up with their significant others, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Rumple.

It’s a big month for Ravin, who became a new mom in March. Not only is she back on set, but she also got engaged to her beau. She revealed the gorgeous engagement ring from Bilich in an Instagram photo.

“Once Upon a Time” Season 6 premieres on ABC this September.
