One Direction Fans Slam Gigi Hadid After Zayn Malik Shares Cute Photo Of Them Together
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have made their romance Instagram-official, but a few One Direction fans don't seem too happy about it. The former One Direction singer took to Instagram Sunday to share a cute photo of him and the model, marking the first time they've publicly addressed the dating rumors.
In the black-and-white Polaroid, Malik and Hadid are leaning in close to each other while the 20-year-old Victoria's Secret model has her hand snuggled against her beau's cheek. Malik didn't caption the photo.
Minutes after the "Best Song Ever" singer shared the lovey-dovey image, fans started flooding the comments section attacking Hadid. Click here to see the photo.
"7 months ago she was with my boy Cody Simpson 3 months ago with my dude Joe Jonas and now with my babe Zayn d--- she faster than my wifi," one commenter wrote. Another Instagram user wrote, "WTF NOOOO," while someone else demanded Malik "delete this s---."
Over on Twitter more fans lashed out about the pair's new romance:
According to E! News, Hadid's friends also aren't too fond of the romance and are questioning why she wants to go out with the 22-year-old.
"Her friends do not quite understand what the attraction is," an insider told the outlet. "He isn’t her usual type; he doesn't share her sense of humor or ease with people [and] he’s a little more self-aware and awkward."
Despite the criticism from fans and friends, Hadid isn't letting that stop her from spending time with Malik. Since first stepping out as a couple in November, the lovebirds have gone on several dates and have been photographed plenty of times holding hands.
This month, Hadid's mom and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster commented on her daughter's new romance. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 51-year-old reality star said: “Gigi’s 20 years old, loving life, shopping like she should. I haven’t met him yet, so I can’t say anything about him."
