One Direction's Liam Payne Reveals Truth On Issues With Former Mates

Liam Payne finally spoke his truth about his relationship with other members of his former band, One Direction.

One Direction, composed of Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, disbanded a few years ago which left millions of their fans devastated. Initially, it was just an indefinite hiatus, and back then a lot of their supporters were still hopeful that one day the English boy band would reunite.

Many have speculated on the true reason each member went their own separate ways. There had been a lot of stories about the band following their split. Recently though, one member broke his silence and spoke his truth. Exclusively talking to Mirror Online, Payne revealed a few things about his relationship with the other members [former] of One Direction.

In the interview, Payne admitted that the fame took a toll on them. That there were moments when it was fun but there were also times when he thought it was awful. But he did not discounted the fact that his former band mates helped one another in dealing with the pressure.

One of the most intense revelation, probably by far, that Payne shared with the fans was his initial challenge with former One Direction band mate Tomlinson. He confessed he hated the guy and they both struggled because both wanted to be the leader. But who would've thought that of all his One Direction band mates, he would develop a unique connection with Tomlinson.

Payne reportedly supported Tomlinson during his struggle when his mom and sister died. He admitted that he kept his connection with Tomlinson and they spoke all the time, revealing that his former band mate is currently doing well. Payne and Tomlinson’s friendship continued even after the group disbanded, ensuring that they support one another.

Payne is also reportedly in good speaking terms with Horan. In the same interview, he revealed that they still keep in touch and that he’d speak to him every now and then.

The only members Payne hasn’t spoken to in a while are Styles and Malik, who reportedly left the band in bad terms. During his interview at “The Jonathan Ross Show” Payne revealed that while each one spoke their side of the story and how they see the surrounding circumstances from their own point of view, they haven’t really spoken collectively.

Payne thought of a possible reunion with the other One Direction boys, except with Malik and he did not think it would ever happen, news outlet Canoe reported. Not putting too much thought on the situation, Payne said that they would be fine without Malik.

Payne even pointed out that they previously had the whole stadium tour without him and they did just fine, so it’s no longer an issue.
