"One Piece" Chapter 1002 is a showdown of new attacks and monstrous powers as the decisive battle between the Yonkos and the Supernovas continues. The latest set of spoilers reveals that Kaido is able to sense the haunting presence of one of the legendary characters that almost defeated him.

Fans now have an idea of what to look forward to in the upcoming chapter, thanks to Redon and other insiders in the "One Piece" community who provided the latest set of spoilers. Contrary to fans' predictions, "One Piece" Chapter 1002 pushes on showcasing the ongoing fight of Luffy, Zoro, Kidd, Killer and Law against Big Mom and Kaido. In the fight, the governor-general of the Beasts Pirates senses the presence of Kaido in Zoro's blade.

In the previous chapter of the manga, fans learned from Zoro that the Enma has a lot more power to release and it looks like he is utilizing that power in "One Piece" Chapter 1002. Aside from being one of the only two swords to have cut through Kaido's immensely thick skin, Enma has the ability to draw out Busoshoku Haki from its wielder in excessive amounts. Hitetsu believes that one of the main reasons why Hyori entrusted the Enma to Zoro is because of his superior skills and strength that reminds her of her father, Kozuki Oden.

Zoro is currently one of the best swordsmen in the world, probably next to Dracule Mihawk. There could be several explanations why Kaido senses Oden in Zoro's sword. The most obvious reason is that one of Zoro's blades belongs to Oden.

Another is that Zoro is a skilled swordsman, probably one of the greatest that Kaido has ever fought. Aside from that, it is possible that the haki being released during Zoro's attack gives Kaido the same feeling he got when Oden did a couple of decades earlier.

Meanwhile, the Supernovas and the Yonkos exchange powerful new attacks that could be devastating to ordinary fighters.

According to the spoilers, "One Piece" Chapter 1002 is titled "Yonkou Vs. New Generation." The incoming installment drops on Jan.31.
