"One Piece" Chapter 1008 is still a few days away since the manga is going for another week-long hiatus. Some fans, however, were able to decipher some clues about the man-made Akumo no Mi, including its possible user.

In "One Piece" Chapter 1007, the CP-0 leader mentioned that the World Government commissioned Dr. Vegapunk to create a man-made Akuma no Mi from Kaidou's lineage factor following his arrest and detention. According to the CP-0 leader, when the World Government asked for the devil fruit, the scientist insisted that it was a failed experiment and kept it at Punk Hazard.

While this does not mean anything, "One Piece" fans have long been speculating that the man-made version of Kaidou's devil fruit was the one eaten by Momonosuke when he was kidnapped and kept at Punk Hazard. Later, he transformed into a serpentine dragon that enabled him to fly by releasing Flame Clouds that he used to climb his way up when he fell into a dark pitch.
