'One Piece' 1009 Spoilers: Oda Surprises Fandom With Major Twist In The Battle On Skull Dome's Roof

"One Piece" Chapter 1009 showcases a major plot twist that fans never predicted.

The unofficial set of "One Piece" Chapter 1009" spoilers are now out, thanks to gyrozzep95, Redon and Korean insiders in the community. With Kaidou already in his hybrid form, the Supernovas planned in the previous chapter to remove one of the Yonkos from the equation. Apparently, this is going to happen in the upcoming manga installment with the Supernovas left to face the strongest creature on the planet.

According to the latest set of spoilers for "One Piece" Chapter 1009, Kid asks Law if he could send one of the Yonkos away using his ability. However, the Haki of the Yonkos is too strong that he could not move them. This confirms that Law's Dragon Fruit abilities could be blocked by a stronger Haki.

Big Mom and Kaidou attack simultaneously and while Zoro temporarily stops the attack, he gets injured but eventually manages to dodge it. The upcoming chapter also shows Luffy back in the game after his momentary inability to use Haki.

The Straw Hats' captain attacks Kaidou but the Yonko returns the attack by hurling a lightning bolt through his mouth. This hints at the possibility that Kaidou's Hybrid form allows him to maintain most of his human features while having the ability to still use the power of his Devil Fruit without transforming into a dragon.

Meanwhile, Law uses Shambles to trap Zeus in a metal box that Kid made. Zoro savagely cuts Prometheus while Killer attacks Napoleon. Without her three Homies, Zeus, Prometheus and Napoleon, Law and Kid throw Big Mom out of Onigashima and eventually falls into the vast sea.

The Supernovas are left with Kaido on the roof of the Skull Dome. Whether they would defeat him and how they would do it remain to be seen. While many fans hoped to see how the other four Supernovas would fight Kaido without Luffy, it seems that it is no longer happening.

There is no break this week, which means the manga will arrive as scheduled. "One Piece" Chapter 1009 is titled "Hell." It is anticipated to drop on April 4.
