'One Piece' 1012 Spoilers, Raw Scans Release Date, Predictions, Round-Up And More

Fans are already looking forward to "One Piece" Chapter 1012. Unfortunately, the manga will have a one-week hiatus, which means that its upcoming installment won't arrive on May 2.

When the chapter finally drops, many fans expect that Big Mom will fight in favor of the Straw Hats, but it looks like it is not going to happen.

Spoilers, Raw Scans And Manga Release Date

This week, Japan celebrates its Golden Week, which is a collection of national holidays within seven days. Because of this, there would be no "One Piece" manga releasing in the upcoming weekend. Fans will have to wait another week as "One Piece" Chapter 1012 will come out on May 9 in Japan or May 10 in the U.S.

The unofficial spoilers, which a lot of fans are excited about, would definitely surface between May 4 and 5. Meanwhile, the English raw scans might become available between May 5 and 8.

Potential Spoilers: Predictions

The previous manga installment showed Big Mom assaulting Page One after learning from Tama what Kaidou's minions have done to Okobore.

Many fans expect that the Emperor of the Sea would change sides in "One Piece" Chapter 1012 and would fight for Luffy's team instead of working with the Captain of the Beasts Pirates. While this might happen, there are some hints pointing that the Yonko will not jump into the Minks-Pirates-Ninja-Samurai alliance.

It was clear in the previous chapter that Big Mom's current state is temporary and is only activated with children below 10 years old. The Yonko might attack Page One, Ulti and the rest of Kaidou's minions in the vicinity but that doesn't mean that she will shift sides.

Fans have seen her beat Queen the Plague and throw tantrums at the Udon Prison when she could not get hold of the red bean paste. She even clashed with Kaidou the moment they saw each other. But afterward, both Yonkos agreed to destroy the Supernova and get the "One Piece."

It is highly likely that Big Mom's Mothering Mode only applies to Tama and as long as Tama is around, this mode will help the Straw Hats in a great way. But since it is a temporary mode, it might end when a stimulus appears.

Fans learned that Kid was at the scene and witnessed how Big Mom used her haki fist to punch Page One. Kid could be the stimulus that could expunge Big Mom's Mother Mode. The Yonko could return to her old self and fight Kid since she hates the guts of the Worst Generation Pirates.

Of course, these are all speculative. In the end, it is still up to Eiichiro Oda, the mangaka behind "One Piece." And since he has been known for giving the manga some unexpected twists, it can be said at this point that anything is possible.
