'One Piece 1013' Scans Reveal This Pirate Is Taking Down Big Mom

"One Piece" 1013 raw scans seemingly tease a major battle between Eustass Kid and Big Mom in the subsequent chapters of the manga.

The new set of "One Piece" 1013 scans is now available, thanks to gyrozepp95 and other insiders in the community. Based on the English translation of the scans, Big Mom is furious that Tama runs alongside Nami and Ussop to get away from her. The Yonko tries to use Napoleon to attack all three of them, but Kid appears out of nowhere and stops Napoleon.

The Supernova then grabs Big Mom's head using his colossal metal hand and throws her to the ground. Kid then instructs the Straw Hats to go away since Big Mom is his prey.

It can be recalled that in the previous chapter of the manga, Kid went to look for Big Mom after Killer told him that he would handle Basil Hawkins.

In "One Piece" 1012, Trafalgar Law left Zoro in Sanji's care to find Big Mom so he could prevent him from getting back on the roof. While the scans reveal that Kid's fight with the emperor of the sea would continue in the next chapters, there's a possibility that Law might join him. Big Mom is too powerful that even Luffy might not be able to defeat her easily.

Although Kid is a strong and powerful pirate, he might not be able to take down Big Mom alone. With Law's help, there is a great chance that they could succeed in defeating her. Kid's strength is perfect for close-range combat, while Law's clever techniques could scatter Big Mom's homies, which could make her less powerful and more vulnerable.

The new scans also reveal an unconscious Luffy falling mid-air with Onigashima floating far away above him. Apparently, Kaidou has reverted to his human form and thinks that his fight with the Straw Hats' captain is finally over.

"I knew it would end like this right from the beginning," Kaidou says. "You are just a brat who obtains a powerful weapon and went ahead of yourself. Human doesn't abandon hope. No, they are unable to abandon hope. Hah. That's what makes thing [sic] troublesome for me."

"I haven't gotten this fired up in a long time, so I made one mistake. I should've cut your head and 'declare [sic] my victory,'" he concluded. "At this rate, everyone will just continue to believe that you can win against me."

"One Piece" Chapter 1013, titled "Anarchy in the BM," is arriving Sunday. The manga will take another week-long break after this chapter.
