'One Piece' 1045 Leaked Panels: Luffy's New Power Turns Manga Into Cartoons

Following the grand reveal of Luffy's new power-up, Eiichiro Oda will showcase in "One Piece"1045 how the Straw Hat captain's new power will transform the manga into cartoons.

The early set of leaks for "One Piece" 1045 is now available online, thanks to the insiders in the community, particularly Redon.

The upcoming manga installment is titled "Next Level," which most certainly describes Luffy's new power-up and the kind of fight he will have with Kaido.

While the raw scans are not yet available, the industry insider who goes by the Twitter user name OroJapan, shared some leaked panels of the incoming chapter. The images feature the characters in unrealistically simple ways yet with humorous exaggeration resembling cartoons.

Even Kaido, in one of the leaked panels, is shown with massive bulging eyes. The same can be seen on several panels showing Eustass Kid, Trafalgar Law, Chopper, Nami, Tama, Momonosuke and Yamato.

Based on the spoilers, the upcoming chapter will show Kaido seemingly admiring the uniqueness of Luffy's new power. The Emperor of the Sea notes that while Luffy now has the ability to transform his surroundings into rubber, like a Paramecia Devil Fruit user, the power itself transforms the user as well.

Luffy's Devil Fruit is also known as Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika.

The upcoming chapter will also show Luffy's new power called Gomu Gomu no Gigant, which is most likely a massive, bloated version of the Straw Hats' captain. Aside from those, Yamato and Momonosuke will reach the roof and see for the first time Luffy's new form.

Sometime during the epic battle on the roof of the Skull Dome, Luffy will run out of energy, but it appears that his awakening will get his heart pumping blood again with the beat of the drum of liberation in the background, allowing him to recover and face Kaido again.

The last panel of the upcoming chapter will show Luffy punching Kaido in the face saying, "This is very funny, isn't it Kaido?" "One Piece" 1045 is set to release on Sunday with the raw scans probably becoming available between Thursday and Saturday.
