'One Piece' 1054: Upcoming Chapter Will Be 'Worth The Wait,' Insiders Claim

The upcoming manga installment of "One Piece" would be "worth the wait," insiders claim. The hit manga is returning after a month-long hiatus.

Reliable industry insiders like Redon assured fans that spoilers for "One Piece" 1054 are coming soon, with some claiming that it is better than Chapter 957 and Chapter 1043. Spoilers will most likely become available sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Details about the highly anticipated chapter are scarce but, a recent leak translated by a Twitter user who goes by the name TalkOP already provided the fandom with some general information.

So far, the leak revealed that "One Piece" 1054 will feature a colorful cover page celebrating the manga's 25th anniversary.

The upcoming chapter will mark the "beginning of the final saga" of "One Piece" with an editor's comment noting it is about "Heading to the new island in high spirits!"

One insider commented about "Oda cooking up another storm," referring to the legendary mangaka who created the series and his ability to surprise fans with an unimaginable turn of events.

Oda seemed hyped with the final saga of the series and even mentioned that the stories from Chapter 1054 onward would be all about "every single secret in this world," including, of course, the legendary yet elusive "One Piece."

Yonkou Productions, another insider posted on their Twitter account Fire Fist Ace, while another insider tweeted about Teostra, the Flame Emperor. Based on these posts, it looks like both insiders clue in that Chapter 1054 will be "lit" or explosive.

Some fans are confused about what "One Piece" 1054 would be since it was earlier announced in "Road to Laughtale" Volume 4 as well as in Oda's message published in WSJ Issue 333 that the final arc will commence in Chapter 1054.

However, Oda previously noted that there are still stories left in the Wano arc.

"One Piece" 1054 will most likely continue where the previous chapter left off -- Greenbull in Wano, Robin and her quest for the Poneglyph in the closed country and the people's celebration of freedom from the clutches of Orochi and Kaido.

While the chapter will officially mark the start of the series' final saga, it does not necessarily mean it will also prematurely end the plot of the Wano arc, considering the myriad of unanswered details in the narrative.

"One Piece" 1054 is scheduled to release on July 22.
