"One Piece" Chapter 992 is still a few days away since its initial release was pushed back because of creator Eiichiro Oda’s health issue, but it looks like the upcoming chapter would feature the return of an angry Big Mom.

In "One Piece" Chapter 989, Jinbei mentioned while they were able to defeat Charlotte Linlin (Big Mom), she would come back angrier than ever. Jinbei knows Big Mom too well since he allied with the emperor for a considerable time. In "One Piece" Chapter 789, the Fishmen calmed her down while she was on a rampage because she wanted to eat croquembouche.

The last time fans saw Big Mom was in "One Piece" Chapter 989. The Straw Hats were fighting the Numbers at that time when Big Mom appeared behind Franky, criticizing him for shooting a laser beam at one of the Numbers. Jinbei then attacked the yonko with Fishman karate while Robin backed the attack with her Mil Fleur.

Jinbei attacked Big Mom again using his Whirling Tides Throw with Robin launching her Delphinium to send the emperor away. After that event, Big Mom was a no show in the succeeding chapters. Now it appears she will resurface in "One Piece" Chapter 992.

In the previous spoilers shared by reliable sources on Reddit, there was a mention that Big Mom will reach the gate of the dome where she will meet her eldest son Perospero. In "One Piece" Chapter 987, Perospero arrived in Onigashima with Whitebeards’ first division head Marco the Phoenix. It was revealed Linlin’s son had forged a temporary alliance with Marco.

If Big Mom happens to talk to Perospero in "One Piece" Chapter 992, the eldest son might convince his mother to sever her alliance with Kaido and side with Marco. If this happens, the Ninja-Minks-Pirates alliance will have the upper hand in the war in Onigashima. There is a great chance the battle could end very soon with the Big Mom pirates fighting alongside the alliance.

Will Perospero be able to convince his mother to cut her ties with Kaido? “One Piece” Chapter 992 is confirmed to arrive Oct. 18.
