‘One Piece’ Chapter 1000 Spoilers Hint Oden’s Prophecy Finally Happening

“One Piece” Chapter 1000 would reportedly show the fulfillment of Oden’s prophecy if the latest set of spoilers are to be believed.

Thanks to Redon, gyrozepp95 and Korean insiders, “One Piece” fandom has more details about the upcoming chapter of the hit manga. While the spoilers mostly reveal the actions happening in various areas in Onigashima, especially in the roof of the Skull Dome, it also highlights one interesting topic-Oden’s prophecy. The legendary hero of the Land of Wano’s prediction is detailed in his journal, which happens to be in Yamato’s possession.

Based on the writings in Oden’s journal written a couple of decades earlier, a new generation of strong people will emerge in the New World. This new generation of strong pirates is predicted to defeat Kaido. Yamato believes that the future Oden was referring to is now. Kaido’s son admitted that he once thought that Ace would lead these strong pirates, but realized it was someone else.

The new generation of strong pirates could be this era’s Supernovas or Worst Generation. They were first introduced in the manga when the Straw Hats visited Sabaody archipelago. Based on “One Piece” Chapter 1000 spoilers, some of them are with Luffy facing Big Mom and Kaido.

As to how Oden’s journal ended up in Yamato’s hand is purely a coincidence. She told Momonosuke that she picked it up at the riverbank on the day the Oden’s castle burned. Aside from Oden’s prophecy, his journal also contains his adventure, the emotions he felt, including some details about the Pirate King Gol D.Roger.

Yamato saw some similarities that Luffy share with the Pirate King and fans are well aware of these too. It was Shanks who first saw these in Luffy and was later confirmed by the Pirate King’s first mate Silvers Rayleigh. Aside from this, the spoilers also revealed that Luffy was able to reach the roof of the Skull Dome with the help of the Minks led by Shishilian.

The much-awaited confrontation between Luffy and the two Emperors of the Sea is finally happening in “One Piece” Chapter 1000. Fans would reportedly hear once again the Straw Hats’ captain saying his favorite line in front of Kaido and Big Mom. “I am Monkey D. Luffy. The man who will surpass both of you...and become the "Pirate King!”

“One Piece” Chapter 1000 was initially set to drop on Jan. 3, but according to the English translation team, it might arrive on Dec. 29.
