'One Piece' Chapter 968 Spoilers: Conclusion Of Roger's Flashback, Oden And Orochi's Battle

“One Piece” Chapter 968 will finally arrive on Jan. 19, 2020, following its delayed release last week. The recent chapter of the popular series takes fans 25 years back to the time when the Daimyo of Kuri, Oden, joined the crew of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger. With the pirates aboard the Oro Jackson finally able to find the legendary treasure, fans are excited about what would the next chapter offer.

In the previous chapter, we saw the friendship forged by King Neptune and Gol D. Roger. The Pirate King met the king of Fish-Man Island and learned about its prophecy. In the Fish-man Island Arc, Nico Robin told King Neptune about her discovery of the poneglyph in the Sea Forest and revealed to the king her ability to read the ancient text.

King Neptune told Robin the same story he shared with Gol D. Rogers about Princess Shirahoshi. But, while Robin learned that Princess Shirahoshi (Poseidon) is the ancient weapon in the prophecy, the Pirate King is more interested in who created the prophecy to point him to the legendary treasure. With Roger finally locating “One Piece,” the next chapter could be an entirely different story.

On Reddit, fans are speculating that “One Piece” chapter 968 could show Gol D. Roger disbanding his crew and Oden returning to Wano country. The wandering samurai who dreamed of leaving Wano and opening its borders to the world might face some serious trouble back home with Orochi. The upcoming “One Piece” chapter might show how Orochi formed an alliance with Kaido and later with the Beasts Pirates.

Will we ever see a Yonko-level battle between Oden and Orochi in the next chapter of “One Piece?” There is a chance that it might happen in Chapter 968. Fans are predicting that the upcoming “One Piece” chapter will be the conclusion of the Gol D. Roger flashback. Perhaps we could see the rest of Wano story when Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats fight Kaido in the forthcoming chapters.
