The previous chapter of the fan-favorite manga “One Piece” teased fans with one of its panels mentioning about Kaido’s son. One theory now claims that fans may have seen Kaido’s son in the past chapter of the manga.

On his YouTube channel Flying Panda, “One Piece” fan and theorist shared the possibility that the unknown son of the captain of the Beast Pirates was with Jack the Drought when he returned to Zou. The theorist pointed out that during Jack’s encounter with the ancient elephant on his way to Zou, there are ships that have scorpion head as their figurehead. He considered the possibility that these could be Jack’s reinforcements, which could be headed by Kaido’s son. This led him to theorize that Kaido’s son could be a scorpion devil fruit user.

Another YouTuber named BDA Law in his channel shared some clips during the Oden flashback of “One Piece.” He considered the possibility that one of the reasons why Kaido did not kill Momonosuke during the fire at the Kuri Castle was because Oden’s heir was of the same age as his son. Although Momo jumped into the future, there is an excellent chance that Kaido’s son is around 20 years old in the current timeline, if the YouTuber’s theory is to go by.

“One Piece” fans will have to wait for another week before they could finally get their hands on the upcoming chapter. “One Piece” Chapter 978 is scheduled to arrive on Apr. 26 while “One Piece” Chapter 979 will be released on May 12. It appears that the upcoming chapter will unveil the mystery behind the identity of Kaido’s son.

“One Piece” Chapter 978 is also anticipated to feature the arrival of the Straw Hats alliance in Onigashima, where the Yonko alliance is currently celebrating the Fire Festival. Will Kanjuro arrive ahead of the Straw Hats alliance to warn Orochi, Kaido, and Big Mom about them?
