Female Health Company, the designer of the only FDA-approved FC2 Female Condom, has announced the launch of a free, interactive online training program for health care providers to raise product awareness and the usage.

FC2 Female Condom is the only FDA-approved product that offers dual protection against the sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/AIDS and unintended pregnancy. The World Health Organization (WHO) has cleared FC2 for purchase by the U.N. agencies.

Since the 2009-FC2 launch in the U.S., the Female Health Company had been conducting in-person trainings across the country, a press release from the company says.

Clinics country-wide want and need FC2 training for their staff, which is now conveniently available online, said Rebecca Bouck, the company's U.S. program manager.
