Oprah interviews Chimpanzee victim Charla Nash (VIDEO)
Charla Nash literally had her face ripped apart in February this year when her friend's 200-pound pet chimpanzee attacked her.
Nash, 56, from Stanford Connecticut was visiting her friend, Sandra Herold, when the chimp suddenly viciously attacked her.
In the interview aired Wednesday Nash told Oprah she has no memory of the attack. I don't remember [The attack]. I don't want to ... I want to get healthy. I don't want to wake up with nightmares, she told Oprah.
Nash lost both her hands and has a severely disfigured face; her family is suing Herold for $50 million. The family is also suing the state of Connecticut for $150 million for failing to see the warning signs.
The 14-year-old chimp, Travis, was shot and killed by police following the attack.
