After more than two and a half decades on air, television talk-show mogul, Oprah Winfrey, announced the date of her last show.

Winfrey's Harpo Productions confirmed that Oprah will air the final episode of her iconic daytime TV program, The Oprah Winfrey Show on May 25.

Currently, the show has been airing reruns while Oprah films the last episodes of the season.

The 57-year-old talk show host tweeted last week that she is hard at work filming the final six weeks of episodes. The new shows will begin airing April 7.

Oprah has yet to announce who her final guests on the show will be. Given how she's saved the best for last, the audience can expect A-list celebrities and the crème de la crème of Hollywood to swing by the set.

While her show may be ending, Oprah is still busy at work with her new cable station, The Oprah Winfrey Network.
