'Orange Is The New Black': Netflix Releases Trailer For New Series Based On Piper Kerman Memoir About Life In A Women's Prison [VIDEO]
From “Weeds” creator Jenji Kohan, “Orange Is the New Black” is a new Netflix comedy-drama based on Piper Kerman’s memoir, “Orange Is the New Black: My Year In a Women’s Prison.” The series follows Taylor Schilling (from “Argo”) as Piper Chapman experiencing life in a women’s prison because of her relationship with a drug smuggler. The 13-episode series is expected to be released in its entirety on July 11 on Netflix. The show continues Netflix’s trend of developing original content and releasing it in its entirety.
