Oregon Take Top Spot in AP Poll, Alabama Drop to No. 4
The Oregon Ducks are the No. 1 in The Associated Press college football poll following the Alabama Crimson Tide's loss to the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday.
The Ducks received 45 of the 60 first-place votes. Oregon easily defeated the California Golden Bears, and have beat three ranked teams this season. The Ducks end the season against two ranked opponents, before the Pac-12 title game.
The Kansas State Wildcats are No. 2 with 14 first-place votes, while the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are No. 3 and received one first-place vote.
Alabama dropped to fourth while Texas A&M moved up six spots to No. 9.
Rounding out the Top 10 are Georgia at No. 5, followed by Ohio State, Florida, LSU, while Florida State is No. 10, following their close victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Oregon State dropped four spots to No. 15, following their loss to Stanford, who remain No. 14.
No. 25 Kent State is ranked for first time since 1973.
